PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a meeting of the City Plan Commission on Monday, June 14, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 203 S. Farwell Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on the following agenda items:

1. Public Hearing – For Recommendation
REZONING (Z-1470-10) – RM to P-Public, Eau Claire County Government Center
and
GENERAL SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (PZ-1006) – Eau Claire County Government Center

Request: To rezone property from RM to P-Public for the proposed government center facility.

Applicant: Eau Claire County

Location: east of Eau Claire County Courthouse, between First and Second Avenues

2. Public Hearing – Final Action
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CZ-1007) – Non-accessory Parking Lot, Eau Claire County
and
SITE PLAN (SP-1020) – Parking Lot B, Eau Claire County Government Center

Request: To allow a non-accessory parking lot in an RM district and approve the site plan for the project.

Applicant: Eau Claire County

Location: between First and Second Avenues, north of Ann Street

3. For Recommendation
STREET AND ALLEY VACATIONS AND DEDICATION – Second Avenue, Ann Street, Eau Claire County Government Center

Request: To vacate portions of Second Avenue, Ann Street, and adjacent alleys and to accept the right-of-way for realignments of First Avenue and Second Avenue for County Government Center

Applicant: Eau Claire County

Location: the area east of Eau Claire County Courthouse


4. Public Hearing – For Recommendation
ZONING (Z-1471-10) – Zoning Code Amendment, Damaged Landmarks

Request: To allow repairs beyond the 50% limit by conditional use permit to damaged landmarked residential property with nonconforming uses.

Applicant: City of Eau Claire

Location: city wide

5. Public Hearing – Final Action
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CZ-1006) – Warehouse in CBD, 415 S. Dewey Street

Request: To allow a storage facility in the Central Business District.

Applicant: Hillside Professional Building

Location: 415 S. Dewey Street

6. For Approval
SITE PLAN (SP-1019) – BioLife Plasma Services, Commonwealth Avenue

Request: To approve the site plan for BioLife Plasma Services facility.

Applicant: BKBM Engineers

Location: 4710 Commonwealth Avenue

This notice is given in accordance with the provisions of Subchapter V of Chapter 19 of the Wisconsin Statutes.

Notice is hereby given that members of the City Council may be present at the foregoing meeting to gather information about a subject over which they have decision-making responsibility.  This constitutes a meeting of the City Council pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Bd., 173 Wis.2d 553, 494 N.W.2d 408 (1993) and must be noticed as such, although the Council will not take any formal action at this meeting.

In order to accommodate the participation of persons with special needs at this meeting, the City will provide the services of a sign language interpreter or make other reasonable accommodations on request.  To make such a request, please notify the City at (715)839-4902 at least 2 days prior to the meeting.
