2008-09 Junior Basketball League Schedules
Hoop DreamsGet in the game! This is an instructional basketball program designed to introduce and teach the basic fundamentals of the sport. Players will participate in a variety of drills, including passing, dribbling, catching, and shooting. Basketballs will be provided on site. Instructional Basketball League (Grade 1) This is an instructional basketball league designed to teach the basic fundamentals of the sport. Players will practice ball handling, shooting, passing, and dribbling. League games will begin in January. Junior Basketball League (Grades 2-6)Junior basketball league games will be played on Saturdays. Practices will be scheduled one night per week at neighborhood elementary schools. All players will be drafted on a team according to guidelines established by the Recreation Office. All participants will play in all games. Volunteer coaches are needed for this program.
