2009-10 Youth Hockey Practice Schedules:

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR HOCKEY LEAGUES

  • Registration for hockey leagues is NOT open to players who reside within the boundaries of another hockey association (Chippewa Falls, Altoona, Menomonie, etc.)

  • REGISTRATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IF TEAMS ARE NOT FULL.

  • The home site for all clinics, leagues, and instructional programs is Hobbs Municipal Ice Center, located at 915 Menomonie Street. NOTE game sites with league description information.

  • Used hockey equipment is available at the following sports stores: Eau Claire Cycle, Play It Again Sports, and Riverside Bike & Skate.

MINI MITES

(USA Hockey Initiation Program)
(USA Hockey Cross Ice Program)

The Mini-Mite Program is a full season (12 weeks) of hockey instruction for all beginning hockey players. The emphasis is on fundamentals and increasing confidence in young skaters. Full equipment is required. All players will receive a stick and mouth guard, compliments of the Eau Claire Youth Hockey Board, that is theirs to keep! Anyone who needs a full set of equipment (with the exception of skates) may check a set out for a $25 use fee and a $25 deposit. This equipment is provided by the Eau Claire Youth Hockey Board. The equipment is made available to help offset the expense of purchasing new equipment for first time hockey players. The $25 deposit check will be voided upon return of equipment in satisfactory condition.
