Hoarding Task Force of Eau Claire County

The Eau Claire County Hoarding Task Force is a multi-agency effort to address the needs of persons who hoard in Eau Claire County, and their families. It began as a group of agencies coming together to figure out additional or alternative methods of addressing the public health risk and mental health needs that each case involves.

The Eau Claire County Hoarding Task Force now includes:

  • City of Eau Claire Police Department
  • Community Members Eau Claire Area
  • Eau Claire City-County Health Department
  • Eau Claire City Inspections Office
  • Eau Claire County Department of Human Services
  • Eau Claire Fire Department
  • HSHS Behavioral Health
  • Mayo Clinic Health Systems
  • Marshfield Clinic
  • Straighten Up Organizing

Mission Statement:
To provide person-centered support to persons who hoard and their family member in Eau Claire County by addressing mental health and public safety risks, connecting people to resources and providing volunteer support to cover gaps in services.
