Certain properties in the City of Eau Claire require inspection by a fire inspector for licensing or compliance testing of their fire protection system(s). Properties requiring compliance testing include buildings with sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and other suppression systems--both newly installed or altered. Properties that require fire inspection for licensing include foster homes and Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs).
