Coalition for Youth

The Eau Claire Coalition for Youth is the most comprehensive coalition in the Chippewa Valley.  The Coalition is a partnership that brings together major non-profits, educational institutions, and city/county department heads to promote the educational, recreational and social needs of our youth and families.  With a twelve-year history, the Coalition continues to promote a coordinated response to programming efforts of youth-serving agencies while eliminating duplication.Eau Claire Coalition for Youth, Bette Wahl

How can I get in touch with the Coalition?
The full-time Project Coordinator, Bette Wahl, can be reached at (715) 839-1681.  Her office is in the Special Services Bureau of the Eau Claire Police Department where she works closely with the Community Relations Officer, Safety Officer, School Liaison Officers, and the Hmong Community Liaison.

Is there any way I can get involved in the Coalition?
Youth and adult volunteers have an opportunity to participate in community events, service projects, and subcommittees that are involved in youth issues.  Teens have the opportunity to be involved in our Youth Engagement Program or the Statewide Youth Leadership Council to make a difference on issues that are important to teens.  Please call the Project Coordinator if you are interested in this.
