• Requests for inspections should be made prior to 9:00 AM of the day of installation or the previous day.
• Calls for inspection should be made to (715) 839-5092
• Leave the following information
  • Property owner’s name
  • Township
  • Requested time of inspection
  • Phone number where you can be reached.
• This phone’s voice messaging system is monitored frequently, please do not feel you have to talk directly to someone, leave a message.
• It is important that all calls be directed to this number so that we can organize our inspections.
• If the inspector will be gone another number will be given to redirect your request and leave your inspection information.
• If you want to change inspection times, contact the number above (or the alternate number provided) and leave another message.

^{IMPORTANT NOTES:}

• Health Department staff will try to make inspections as close to the requested time as possible. However, due to multiple requests for the same time slot, workload, etc., you may have to wait.

• NO portion of the septic system may be backfilled without the expressed consent of the Health Department staff. Leaving only the ends open is NOT acceptable. Backfilling prior to inspection will subject you to a $500.00 citation.

• If there is a legitimate need to backfill prior to your scheduled inspection, contact the Health Department.

• If you are ahead or behind schedule, try to contact the inspector and, if possible, we will make adjustments.
