The City of Eau Claire Housing Division receives approximately $250,000 annually in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Rehabilitation Loan Program. The program is designed to provide funding to low-income families for improvements to eliminate blight, conserve energy and to preserve the housing stock within the city limits of Eau Claire.
