Applications are currently being accepted for the 2011-2012 City of Eau Claire Police Officer hiring eligibility list. Online applications that are currently submitted will be held for the 2011-2012 testing process. We will notify all applicants once testing dates and times have been scheduled during 2011. At time of hire, candidates are required to have 60 post high-school semester credits (any field). Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Applicants must successfully pass each of the following components: Written entrance examination, Physical agility test, and oral interview. An offer of employment is contingent upon a candidate's successful completion of physical, psychological, polygraph, and chemical tests which are performed at the City's expense. Current Salary range: $44,451 - $52,113 annually plus fringe benefits. |
