Applications are currently being accepted for the 2012-2013 City of Eau Claire Police Officer hiring eligibility list recruitment/testing process. At time of hire, candidates are required to have 60 post high-school semester credits (any field). Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Applicants must successfully pass each of the following components: written entrance examination, physical agility test, oral interview, and background investigation. Prior to employment, candidates may be asked to participate in further testing at City expense, which may include physical/medical evaluation, personality testing, psychological examination, polygraph, and/or chemical substance testing. Current Salary range: $44,896 - $52,635 annually plus fringe benefits. |
