The Eau Claire City-County Health Department announced the debut of a new website today.

Today, the website content provides people with information about seasonal flu, the 2009 H1N1 flu, local flu clinic locations, and more ways that individuals, families and businesses can be ready.

Be Ready Eau Claire is designed to educate, inform, and empower Eau Claire County residents to plan, prepare for, and respond to public health emergencies such as infectious or communicable disease outbreaks, food or waterborne illness outbreaks, and potential bioterrorism attacks.

Be Ready Eau Claire is a collaborative partnership effort of the Eau Claire City-County Health Department, Law Enforcement, Public Schools, Emergency Management, city of Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Health Care Providers and Systems, American Red Cross, UW-EC, City-County Board of Health, Chamber of Commerce, local Fire/EMS, CVTC, UW-Health Family Medicine, and Businesses.
