At more than seven acres, Boyd Neighborhood Park consists of many different amenities. In addition to the play equipment, off-street parking, and open recreational area the park provides access to the Eau Claire River, which offer opportunities for shoreline fishing. There is also a pedestrian bridge that crosses the river granting access to city recreational trails on either side of the river. While the shelter house, picnic pavilion, and prairie area with walking trails can be a delight in the summer months, an ice-skating rink and a snow-banked hockey rink can be enjoyed during the winter at Boyd Park.

Buffington Drive
At nearly twelve acres, Buffington Neighborhood Park is one of the city's largest neighborhood parks. This active play area provides visitors access to a modern piece of playground equipment and to an expansive open recreational field. A couple of benches are placed in the park as well. From Buffington Drive and Florence Avenue, a paved walking path allows for easy pedestrian access extending through a wooded area to Cameron Street.

Cameron Neighborhood Park, at approximately 3.4 acres in size, has a hard court surface play area, equipped with lights, featuring two basketball hoops, foursquare, and hopscotch. The park also provides visitors with access to playground equipment and a large open recreational field. In addition, a few picnic tables and a shelter house outfitted with restrooms can be found at this neighborhood facility.

This park supplies the surrounding neighborhood with an open recreational field, a hard court surface with two basketball hoops, and modern playground equipment. During the warm weather season, a large community garden is located in the park. In the winter, a portion of Demmler Neighborhood Park is used as a general ice-skating rink with a snow-banked hockey rink alongside. An on-site shelter house provides park visitors with restroom facilities.

Sundet Neighborhood Park, approximately 5.1 acres in size, offers modern playground equipment as well as an open recreational field area. The park also has off-street parking along with a hard court surface, which includes two basketball hoops. Pleasant walks can be enjoyed due to the nature trails that are around the park. An outdoor drinking fountain is located directly behind the shelter house.

Zephyr Hill Neighborhood Park is located east of Highway 53 and generally south of North Crossing. At a little more than five acres, this park provides playground equipment and a hard court surface with two basketball hoops. Off-street parking is available near the dugouts of the adult-sized softball field. A couple of picnic tables along with limited shade can be found in the east end of the park directly behind the right field fence of the ball field.
