Citizens Advisory Committee
On September 23, 2003, the City Council approved the appointment of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) for the Comprehensive Plan. The purpose of the CAC was to advise the project consultant, SRF Consulting Group, Inc., City staff, and the Plan Commission on the preparation, discussion, and review of the Comprehensive Plan. The CAC held a series of public meetings from October 2003 through April 2005 concerning the preparation of the Comprehensive Plan, and at the conclusion of their discussions forwarded a draft plan to the Plan Commission.
