"Tri" Eau Claire-Run/Row/Ride
The "Tri" Eau Claire Run/Row Ride is a fun event to raise money for the youth recreation scholarships. The triathlon follows the shores of the Chippewa River in Eau Claire, WI and is a non-timed event.
When:
Saturday, August 7th, 2010
Location:
The race begins and ends at Hobbs Ice Center parking lot. 915 Menomonie Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
RUN 3 MILES
The run follows the beautiful Chippewa River Trail up to Phoenix Park.
ROW (PADDLE) 2 MILES
The river route begins at Phoenix Park and ends at the landing behind Hobbs Ice Center.
RIDE 10 MILES
The bike route begins at Hobbs Ice Center and will continue throughout the City of Eau Claire Streets and finish at Hobbs Ice Center parking lot.
Event Start Times:
8:00am - Take "day of" registrations
8:30am - Pre race meeting with participants
9:00am - Race begins
Post Race Picnic - Free food and beverage available to all participants

Men's and women's singles
Men's team
Women's team
Mixed pairs
*If you are competing as a team you can have no more than two participants. One person completes the run, both team members complete the canoe/kayak and the other person completes the bike.
*Singles complete all sections of the race and may either canoe/kayak with another single or go solo.
***Kids under 18 must be accompanied by an individual over 18 as a team member and both entrants must complete the run, paddle, bike together.

Pre-registration: You must register prior to July 16th to take advantage of pre-registration pricing.

Additional Information:
Equipment will not be provided. Participants may paddle canoes or kayaks. Life jackets and bike helmets are required. Canoes/kayaks will need to be dropped off by participants at Phoenix Park. The course will be marked and patrolled and rules of the road are to be followed while biking and running.
