The following matters may be acted upon by the City Council utilizing a single vote.  Individual items, which any member wishes to address in greater detail or as a separate item on the regular agenda, may be removed from the Consent Agenda upon the request of any Council Member.

   2.       Resolution approving Minutes of Regular Meeting of December 13, 2011.

LICENSES

   3.       Resolution granting bartender licenses.

   4.       Resolution granting a Temporary Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and Temporary Class B Wine license to Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley, Craig Olsen, president, on April 22, 2012, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, at HOM Furniture, 2921 Mall Dr., for Wine & Cheese Tasting fundraiser.

SPECIAL EVENTS

   5.       Resolution authorizing the University of Wisconsin to conduct the Shamrock Shuffle on Saturday, March 10, 2012 along city trails.

   6.       Resolution authorizing the Mayo Health Systems to conduct the Mayo Employee Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Carson Park.

   7.       Resolution authorizing the Mehara Shrine Circus to conduct the 65^th Annual Shrine Circus on June 12-13, 2012 at Carson Park.

   8.       Resolution authorizing the Mayo Health Systems to conduct the Mayo Employee Summer Picnic on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Carson Park.

TREE REMOVAL

   9.       Final Resolution granting petition and waiver for tree removal at 821 Wedgewood Avenue, Parcel No. 10-0736.

  CONTRACT AMENDMENT

    10.       Resolution approving the First Amendment to the 2010 Urban Mass Transit Operating Assistance Contract between the State of Wisconsin and the City of Eau Claire.

STREET VACATION – STATZ AVENUE

   11.       Resolution authorizing a public hearing in the matter of the vacation for the remnant of the cul-de-sac lying westerly of the projected westerly right of way line of Statz Avenue at Declaration Drive and referring said matter to the Plan Commission for study and report. 
a.  Resolution vacating the remnant of the cul-de-sac lying westerly of the projected westerly right of way line of Statz Avenue at Declaration Drive.    
b.  Lis pendens on the matter of said vacation of the remnant of the cul-de-sac lying westerly of the projected westerly right of way line of Statz Avenue at Declaration Drive.

BUSINESS AGENDA
USE OF CITY FACILITIES

12.  Resolution authorizing Here We Grow Again, LLC to conduct the Here We Grow Again Children’s Consignment Sale on April 10-16, 2012 at Hobbs Municipal Ice Center and again on a mutually agreed upon time in September 2012.

ZONING

   16.       Ordinance rezoning property at the northeast corner of N. Clairemont Avenue and Park Ridge Drive from R-3P, I-1, and P-Public to C-3P, and to adopt the General Development Plan for commercial development as shown on Planning File #Z-1495-11.

17.       Ordinance amending Table VIII of the City Code of Ordinances entitled “Parking Prohibited,” by adding a 100-foot section in the 400 block of McKinley Avenue, south side, adjacent to Roosevelt Avenue.

The next City Council Legislative Meeting is scheduled to be held at 4 p.m. on January 24, 2012.

Due to requirements contained in the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law, only those matters placed on this agenda may be considered by the City Council at this meeting.  If any member of the public desires that the City Council consider a matter not included on this agenda, he or she should contact a City Council Member or the City Manager to have the matter considered for placement on a future City Council agenda.
