9. Resolution authorizing Special Olympics Wisconsin to conduct the Polar Plunge on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Half Moon Beach.

10. Resolution authorizing Longfellow Elementary School to conduct the Jeanne Richie Memorial Puddle Jump on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Phoenix Park.

11. Resolution authorizing the L.E. Phillips Senior Center to conduct the Water Street Mile on Saturday, July 14, 2012 along Water Street.

12. Preliminary Resolution declaring the City’s intention to exercise its special assessment powers under Section 66.0703, Wisconsin Statutes, for street and sidewalk improvements, and directing the City Clerk to give notice of a hearing scheduled for February 13, 2012, on the following streets:
- Alpine Road, Ironwood Lane to 970 feet east (12-401)
- Cameron Street, Nicholas Drive to N. Clairemont Avenue (12-402)

16.  Resolution authorizing the renewal of a lease agreement with the Eau Claire United Soccer Club, for the use of the Soccer Park.

17.  Resolution approving an economic development incentive to Plank Enterprises.

18. Resolution in support of maintaining a U.S. Post Office retail facility in the downtown area of Eau Claire.

The next City Council Legislative Meeting is scheduled to be held at 4 p.m. on February 14, 2012.

Due to requirements contained in the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law, only those matters placed on this agenda may be considered by the City Council at this meeting.  If any member of the public desires that the City Council consider a matter not included on this agenda, he or she should contact a City Council Member or the City Manager to have the matter considered for placement on a future City Council agenda. 

WORK SESSION

PLEASE NOTE:  The City Council of the City of Eau Claire will hold a Work Session immediately following its Legislative Session on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 to discuss the proposed 2012 Street Improvement Program.  The Work Session will be held in the North Conference Room of City Hall, 203 South Farwell Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
