From 7-24-2026, 7:00AM, to 7-27-2026, 7:00AM, the ECPD responded to 232 calls for service. The calls per district are as follows: North District – 67, West District – 81, South District – 84.

July 24, 2026

North District

Traffic Stop – An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The operator was ordered in for OAR and Bail Jumping.

Check Person – Officers were detailed to a parking ramp for a report of a person that appeared under the influence and was blocking the elevator. An officer contacted a person and noted a profound smell of urine. The person was previously banned from the place and was cited for Trespassing. Probation advised they would be placing a hold on the person and they were taken into custody.

Warrant Pickup – Officers were walking through the public library when they observed a person and knew they had an EC County warrant. The person provided a THC pipe and was taken into custody without incident.

Check Person – Officers were detailed for a report of 5-7 people exchanging drugs. Contact was made with a person and they were arrested for a probation warrant. The person was found in possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana. They were arrested accordingly.

West District

Traffic Stop – An officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration. The operator was suspended and had bond conditions to not drive without a valid DL. The person was ordered in for felony Bail Jumping and cited for OWS.

South District

Warrant Pickup – Officers arrested a person at DOC for a probation warrant.

July 25, 2026

North District

Check Person – Officers were dispatched to a parking ramp regarding a person who was passed out in the nude. Contact was made with the person who was on their back sleeping in the nude. Upon contact, officers noted that pedestrians who were utilizing the ramp had clear view of the person. The person was arrested and ordered-in for Lewd and Lascivious.

Threats – A person was making threats toward staff because they would not let them in. The person was intoxicated in violation of their bond and was taken into custody for felony Bail Jumping. PBT = .263.

Traffic Stop – An officer stopped a vehicle for equipment violations. During the contact, the driver made furtive movements and was uncooperative. K9 Bolt arrived and alerted on the vehicle. A search revealed meth, prescription pills and a concealed knife. The driver was arrested for Possession of Meth, Possession of an Illegally Obtained RX, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and CCW-knife.

Traffic Stop – An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for equipment violations. The operator refused to stop and continued driving through the area while waving their hands out the window. Eventually, the operator stopped the vehicle. A felony stop was conducted and the person continued to be uncooperative. The person was taken into custody and a search revealed meth and THC. The person was arrested for felony Fleeing, Possession of THC, Possession of Meth and Resisting.

West District

Domestic – Officers were dispatched to a bar regarding a possible domestic. Officers contacted Person 1 outside of their residence and they stated that their spouse, Person 2, had threatened to beat them over financial issues. Officers received permission to enter the residence and contacted Person 2. Person 2 was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. 72 Hour No-Contact was waived.

Fight – Officers responded to a bar for a fight. Officers located an involved vehicle leaving the scene and conducted a traffic stop. Witnesses identified three of the individuals in the car as being involved with the fight. PC was developed to arrest all three. Due to the odor of marijuana, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Cocaine, cash and paraphernalia were located. Person 1 was arrested for Battery, DC, Manufacture/Delivery of Cocaine, Theft and a PO hold. Person 2 was arrested for Manufacture/Deliver of Cocaine, Battery and DC. Person 3 was arrested for Battery and DC.

Assist Fire – Officers and FD were detailed for a fully engulfed garage fire. No injuries were reported.

South District

Burglary – Officers were dispatched to a business after security called to report a vehicle and two occupants were on their property after hours. Contact was made with Person 1 and Person 2. Person 1 admitted that they and Person 2 were dumpster diving and had taken a power cord. K9 Bolt conducted an open-air sniff and hit on the vehicle. A drug pipe, hash oil, and two jars containing trace amounts of meth were located. Person 1 was arrested for Theft, felony Bail Jumping, Poss. of Meth, Drug Paraphernalia, and THC. Person 2 was arrested for various warrants and Theft.

Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a person for moving violations. Various suspicious behaviors were displayed prior to and during the stop. An ACT 79 search was conducted and numerous meth pipes were located. The person was arrested for Possession of Meth, Possession of Paraphernalia and a PO hold.

July 26, 2026

North District

Domestic – Officers responded to a report of a domestic. The victim, Person 1, indicated that Person 2 had struck them in the face during an argument. Officers located Person 2 and they attempted to flee on foot. Officers quickly located Person 2 in a backyard. Person 2 was arrested for Domestic Battery, DC and Criminal Damage.

Disturbance – Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person trying to kick in a door. Officers learned that the caller’s child and their significant other were intoxicated and had been involved in an argument. The caller and their significant other became involved and escalated the situation. The caller was arrested for Intentional Abuse of a Child. The caller’s s/o was arrested for Battery, DC and Intentional Abuse of a Child.

Trespassing – Officers contacted a person after they were seen trespassing at a business. The person was taken into custody for multiple BOLOs.

West District

Harassment – Person 1 reported the parent of their child, Person 2, was following them. Person 1 also found that their work vehicle had its tires slashed while parked at their residence. Later in the day, Person 2 returned to Person 1’s residence, slashed the tires of two boat trailers and Person 1’s significant other’s car, and left Person 1’s garden hose running in the backyard. Person 2 was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct, felony Criminal Damage, Trespass to Dwelling, Unlawful Use of a Telephone, Resisting, OWI, Threats to LE, Disorderly Conduct, and Stalking. The 72-Hour was enforced.

Traffic Stop – An officer stopped a vehicle for non-registration. During the contact, an open container and suspected cocaine was observed in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed cocaine. The person was arrested for Possession of Cocaine.

South District

Check Person – Officers were detailed for a report of a naked person sleeping in the cemetery. Officers found the person. The person woke up and said they were hot and laid down to take a nap and were aware they were exposing themselves. They were arrested and ordered in for Lewd and Lascivious. The caller said they were at the cemetery to visit a grave and left without doing so as they did not feel comfortable after seeing the naked person.

Traffic Stop – An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle and contacted the operator. The person had a criminally revoked DL and had initially provided a false name. The person was arrested for OAR, Failure to Install IID, Obstructing, felony Bail jumping x2 and a PO hold.

July 27, 2026

North District

Warrant Pickup – An officer recognized a person and knew they had a valid DOC warrant for their arrest. Upon seeing the officer’s squad turn around, the person began to flee on their bicycle. A short pursuit ensued and ended after the person fell to the ground after attempting to dismount their bicycle and flee on foot. They were taken into custody after a brief struggle. The person was arrested for the DOC warrant, Resisting, Poss. of Meth, and two counts of felony Bail Jumping. Case forwarded to Detectives as the person was in possession of stolen mail.

West District

Warrant Pickup – An officer recognized a person and knew that they had a warrant for their arrest. The person was taken into custody without issue and transported to jail.
