North District

Disturbance - Officers were detailed to a park for a report of two people yelling at each other. Contact was made with Person 1 and Person 2. Both were intoxicated and Person 2 reported Person 1 had previously sexually assaulted them. Person 2 didn’t want to report it to law enforcement because they did not want to be a “snitch.” Both were heavily intoxicated and Person 1 was in violation of their probation rules and probation placed a hold.

West District

Domestic - Officers responded to a domestic between Person 1 and their sibling, Person 2. Person 2 was arrested for Domestic DC, Battery and a PO hold.

Check Person – An officer had contact with a person and arrested them for a Trempealeau County warrant after they were medically cleared from an incident that occurred on 7/28.

South District

Stolen Vehicle – A person reported their vehicle was stolen from their apartment parking lot. No suspects. Vehicle entered into NCIC.

Retail Theft – An officer followed up with a person and issued them a citation for Retail Theft after they stole from a department store multiple times.

Traffic Stop – An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. A passenger was cited for Possession of THC after an Act 79 search of the vehicle was completed.

July 31, 2026

North District

Traffic – Officers stopped a vehicle that was being operated by Person 1 who has a revoked DL. Person 1 and Person 2 were arrested for a variety of drug-related charges after .44g of cocaine and 29.95g of meth were recovered.

OMVWI – An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was under the influence of meth and was arrested for OMVWI, OAR, and felony Bail Jumping. The passenger gave a false name but was ID. They were arrested on several warrants, Bail Jumping, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Obstructing.

South District

Stolen Vehicle – Officers located a stolen vehicle running in the middle of a road with significant front-end damage. The vehicle was returned to the owner and removed from NCIC. Reviewing public space cameras, officers located the vehicle and the passenger was ID. An officer located another stolen vehicle later in the night. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled. After a short pursuit, two occupants fled on foot. The driver was contained in a wooded area until K9 Manso requested that the person exit. The person did exit and was taken into custody. The other occupant was taken into custody at their residence. Both were arrested on numerous charges. Follow up will continue as a third person is likely the person who had originally stolen the vehicle.

Warrant Pickup – An officer stopped a vehicle for several equipment violations. The driver was arrested on a DOC warrant.

Assist EMS – Officers and EMS responded for a PNB. A person was found deceased in their apartment by apartment management. The person died of an intentional overdose and left detailed funeral and estate plans. Nothing suspicious.

August 1, 2026

North District

Warrant Pickup – An off-duty officer called to report a person was downtown and had a warrant for their arrest. An on-duty officer located the person at a shelter and took them into custody without incident.

West District

Domestic – Officers responded to a domestic. Three people got into an intoxicated altercation where a trophy was being swung around in a threatening manner. One person was found to be the biggest problem, and they were arrested for Domestic DC and Battery.

South District

Warrant Pickup – Officers were dispatched as a person’s significant other called and reported that they believed the person had a warrant. The person did have a valid warrant for their arrest, and they were taken into custody without issue.

Disturbance – Officers dispatched to a fight in progress at a motel between two people. Only one was located and they had injuries consistent with an altercation. Person 1 advised that their friend, Person 2, was arguing with them and things became physical. By running Person 1’s information, it was learned that they had valid Fond Du Lac County warrants and they were taken into custody. Person 2 was not located, and a BOLO was entered.

Warrant Pickup – An officer responded to a business after an ANON caller reported that a person was working and had a warrant. Contact was made with the person who was taken into custody without issue and transported to the ECCJ.

Traffic – An officer conducted a random registration check and learned the known operator of the vehicle was revoked. A stop was made and the operator was ordered in for OAR.

August 2, 2026

West District

Follow Up – An officer located a person and took them into custody for Resisting and Bail Jumping, stemming from an incident that occurred on July 6.

Fight – Officers were dispatched to a bar/restaurant regarding a fight in progress. While trying to separate parties, an officer was shoved from behind by Person 1. Person 1 was immediately taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting.

Retail Theft – Officers responded to staff reporting an intoxicated person that was trying to steal a case of beer. The person was banned from the gas station and probation placed a hold on them after they continued to cause a scene. They were found to have multiple concealed knives on their person as well. They were transported to the jail.

South District

Check Person – Officers responded for the report of a person passed out in a parked car that was wedged against another parked car. When they arrived, they were able to wake up the person who smelled of alcohol. The person admitted to driving, and failed SFSTs. They were arrested for OMVWI.

OMVWI – An officer stopped a vehicle for equipment violations and contacted the driver. The driver showed signs of impairment and failed SFST’s and PBT tested .204. They were arrested for OMVWI 1^st.

August 3, 2026

North District

Threats – Officers investigated a threats case in which the caller reported that they called a fast-food restaurant about their order being incorrect. The order issue was not resolved and instead the caller received a phone call from an employee who threatened to find the caller and “[expletive] them up.” The employee used their personal phone to make these threats. They were contacted and denied making threats, however the caller had several witnesses to the threats. The employee was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Telephone, Disorderly Conduct, felony Bail Jumping, and a PO Hold.

West District

Ordinance Violation – Officers were detailed to a park for reports of a “car club” meeting in the parking lot doing “burnouts” and operating at high rates of speed through the park. An officer observed a vehicle matching the description of one of offender vehicles fail to stop at a stop sign. The officer initiated a traffic stop and contacted the driver. The driver denied being the operator of the vehicle when it was driving recklessly. The vehicle registration was also expired on the vehicle. The driver was issued citations and their vehicle was towed as it was not legal to operate on the roadway. Multiple other traffic stops and citations were issued to these two competing car groups after they left the park. They were ordered to leave the park after trying to fight with each other. Then they drove to a different park and continued to create issues.

South District

Domestic – Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a domestic that had been physical. Person 1 admitted to slapping their spouse, Person 2, in the face after they cornered them about not having a job and not doing anything around the house. Person 1 was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Battery. 72 hour no contact was enforced.

Drug Investigation – An officer checked on a vehicle after observing it leave an area. A person would eventually return to the vehicle and gave the officer consent to search of the vehicle. Two dirty gem bags that FTP for meth were located. The person was ordered in for Possession of Meth, Drug Paraphernalia, felony Bail Jumping (x4) and Bail Jumping (x7).
