City of Eau Claire City Hall Renovation Open House
The City of Eau Claire invites to you an Open House celebrating the completion of the 2018-2019 renovation of the City Hall complex at 203 South Farwell Street in Downtown Eau Claire and on the adjacent Dewey Street which will be closed to through-traffic between Eau Claire Street and East Grand Avenue.

Renovation Highlights Include
- 103-year old fireplaces rediscovered
- Skylights revealed and restored
- Classic architecture repaired and re-imagined
- State-of-the-art motion-activated lighting
- Energy-efficient heating and cooling systems
Schedule of Events
Guided Tours of City Hall - 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Learn about the renovation and history of the two historic landmarks that make up City Hall. The former Eau Claire Public Library built with funds provided by Andrew Carnegie and the Eau Claire City hall Building, a replica of the Petit Trianon Palace in Versailles, France. Tours scheduled to be provided by City Manager Dale Peters, City Engineer Dave Solberg, and members of the renovation team.
Ribbon Cutting - 5 p.m.
Comments from City Council President Terry Weld and City Manager Dale Peters.
City of Eau Claire department displays - 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Equipment and representatives from Eau Claire Police Department, Eau Claire Fire and Rescue, City of Eau Claire Human Resources Department, and others.
Food Trucks - 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Cabin Coffee, Fire Truck Pizza, and Ramone's Ice Cream Parlor will have food, drinks, and treats available for purchase.
Games! 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
City of Eau Claire Parks, Recreation, and Forestry will have a variety of games to play.
Free Parking for the event can be found in the Transfer Center Lot, Farwell Street Lot, and the Farwell/Gibson ramp.
