2019 Board of Review

The 2019 Board of Review met and adjourned on June 3, 2019.

Revaluation Cycle

A three year revaluation cycle is used in the City of Eau Claire.  The next revaluation is scheduled for the 2021 assessment year. The revaluation process includes a review of the property records, an analysis of recent comparable sales, and a determination of new assessed values for all properties.  Assessed values are typically based on recent arms-length sales of similar properties.

Citywide Project to Update Property Records

As part of the assessment process, we periodically revise and update the property records. We use the information contained in the records as a basis for the annual assessment and triennial citywide revaluations. The records also serve as a resource for other city departments as well as the public.
