The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (Alliance) is an Eau Claire County community-based coalition working to improve the lives of children, youth and adults by mobilizing communities to prevent and treat alcohol, tobacco & other drug abuse in Eau Claire County. The Alliance brings community volunteers and other community groups together, helping coordinate and support community-wide efforts. All work toward the common goal of substance abuse prevention and treatment in our community. Members represent a wide range of knowledge and local insight from healthcare, education, law enforcement, government agencies, policy makers, faith communities, community service organizations, businesses, and concerned parents and youth.

  The Healthy Communities High-Risk Alcohol Use action team is working to create community change around binge drinking through collaboration.

Eau Claire Healthy Communities is a local coalition, made up of partners from the community, working together to promote the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities of Eau Claire County through collaborative and focused action. Other action teams are Assessment/Planning, Chronic Disease Prevention, Family Violence Prevention, Mental Health, and Oral Health Promotion.
