Typical Timeline/Hiring Steps

Some of our hiring processes may differ slightly, but our typical process includes the following steps:

  • Application is posted and applications are accepted
  • Application closes or has a first review deadline (see individual posting/chart below for details)
  • Applications are reviewed by Hiring Managers (typically takes about 2-3 days to complete)
  • Candidates are notified if they have been/have not been selected to interview
  • Panel interviews are held (typically 2-3 interviewers)
    • May include testing
  • Background check is conducted on selected candidate(s)
  • References checks are conducted on selected candidate(s)
  • Verbal, conditional offer is made to the selected candidate(s)

About Eau Claire

We are located 90 miles east of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan area in West Central Wisconsin. Our community has a population of approximately 70,000. Although it was once a lumber dominated economy, Eau Claire is now a regional center for education, medical services, business, and cultural/musical events. Eau Claire is the shopping, financial, and cultural center for a substantial area in West Central Wisconsin.
