The Inspection Services Division reviews plans, issues permits and inspects new construction and remodeling work within the City of Eau Claire. This includes work relating to building construction, heating and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and sign installation. The Division also enforces City ordinances relating to the floodplain, zoning, property upkeep and land use.

Cell phones and emails shall not be used for any scheduling of inspections, pictures or uploading of documents. Inspection procedures will still need to be routed through Evolve via calling the office or using the Evolve Portal. General inspection questions can be submitted to inspections@eauclairewi.gov.
