Parks, Forestry, and Cemetery is a Division of the Community Services Department. The division is responsible for maintaining parkland, city sports and athletic facilities, two cemeteries, boulevard trees, trees on city property, and maintaining the city buildings.

The 2025-2030 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan provides a framework for the ongoing development and maintenance of the City of Eau Claire’s park system over time.  This document is used to inform decisions related to capital improvement budget requests as part of the annual budget process as well as guide future improvement projects in the park system.  Click the cover image below to review the document at any time.  Key components of this document include:

  • A usability analysis of each City of Eau Claire park with rankings related to safety, amenities, connectivity to the community, and other related criteria.
