The City of Eau Claire has over 1,000 acres of park open space and 34-miles of trails that are open and waiting for you to come out and play! 

In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 some amenities continue to be closed or have guidelines for use, please look for posted signs. 

General guidance

Please remember that physical distance and continuing good general hygiene practices such as; staying home when sick, covering your cough or sneeze, frequent hand washing/use of hand sanitizer, and not sharing food/utensils/drinks are all important in the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.

  • Dog Parks
  • Fishing - shoreline
  • Hammocking
  • Open air shelters
  • Open spaces
  • Picnic tables – clean before use
  • Grills – those installed by the city, clean before use

Playing Fields - the following are open for play between people that live in the same household (no organized team use):

  • Baseball/Softball fields
  • Disc Golf courses
  • Horse Shoe courts
  • Pickleball courts
  • Soccer fields
  • Tennis courts

*Please read and follow any posted guidelines for use including time limits and good physical distancing and hygiene.

Restrooms - the following Community Parks restrooms are open.

  • Owen Park
  • Rod & Gun Park
  • Riverview Park
  • Mt. Simon

City of Eau Claire Administrative Offices – City Hall and other City administrative offices remain closed at this time.
