APWA National Award

2019 Small Cities/Rural Communities Project of the Year:
Transportation

The City of Eau Claire received a 2019 Public Works Project of the Year award in the Small Cities/Rural Communities Transportation category. Award winners are recognized at the yearly PWX (Public Works Expo) events. PWX 2019 took place in Seattle, Washington from September 8-11, 2019; City Engineer Dave Solberg attended and accepted the award on behalf of the City.

APWA Wisconsin Chapter Award

2019 Project of the Year

The City of Eau Claire received an APWA (American Public Works Association)'s 2019 Project of the Year award. City Engineer Dave Solberg attended the spring conference on May 9, 2019, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and accepted the award on behalf of the City. This award recognizes the collaboration & efforts of multiple firms working together on the completion of public works projects.

"The Downtownys" is an annual event coordinated by Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) to celebrate businesses, organizations & individuals that make downtown an amazing place to be! Folks gather to recognize our community with a cocktail reception, banquet, awards ceremony & entertainment.
