Delayed to 2020

The Eddy Lane & Melby Street projects  will start and finish in 2020 even though approved by City Council for 2019 construction. Delay occurred because of scheduling issues with the railroad & private utilities.

Eddy Lane Project Approved on 2/26/19

Construction as part of the street, utility & sidewalk improvements project for Eddy Lane, from Starr Avenue to Hastings Way was approved at the City Council Legislative Session on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, as proposed.

Melby Street Project Approved w/ Amendment on 2/26/19

Construction as part of the street, utility & sidewalk improvements project for Melby Street, from Anderson Drive to Hastings Way was approved with an amendment at the City Council Legislative Session on Tuesday, February 26, 2019:

An 8-foot-wide asphalt multi-use trail will be constructed in lieu of the proposed 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along the north side of Melby Street except within 10 feet of the railroad tracks, which will remain a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk.
